December 13, 1952 - June 15, 2026

Charles “Charlie” Edward Reeves, 73, of Chickamauga, GA, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was a graduate of Rossville High School: class of 1971. He was a member of Cloud Springs Baptist Church. He played football at Rossville High and worked at his grandfather’s grocery store on McFarland Ave- he was such a people person. He never met a stranger.

Charlie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose kindness, strength, and love for his family touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for his warm heart, his sense of humor, and the countless memories he created with those he loved. Charlie and Babs were able to travel to 47 states. He loved, loved, loved his wife, his girls, and his family.

Right behind his family, Charlie loved the outdoors and his passion for hunting was admirable. He met and brought along lots of family and friends throughout the way. Jim’s Restaurant was a big part of his hunting adventures.

The family finds comfort in knowing that Charlie’s legacy lives on through the love he shared, the lessons he taught, and the family he treasured above all else.

Charlie will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Charlie was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Gunter Reeves Plaster and his father Doug Reeves.
