Young basketball players will have the opportunity to sharpen their skills and show their Ramblers spirit during the 2026 Future Ramblers Basketball Camp, scheduled for July 13-15 at LaFayette High School.
The three-day camp will run from 1 to 3:30 p.m. each day and is designed to give young athletes a chance to improve their basketball fundamentals while having fun alongside fellow campers.
Registration and drop-off will begin Monday, July 13, at 12:15 p.m. Camp organizers ask that all players be walked into the gym by a parent or guardian on the first day so required waivers can be signed and camp fees can be paid. Information about sibling discounts will be available at the registration table located at the end of the hallway near the boys’ side gym.
Each day will feature a different themed spirit day to add to the excitement. Monday’s theme is “Rambler Day,” encouraging campers to wear orange and black. On Tuesday, participants are invited to wear their favorite jersey, headband and crazy socks for “Jersey, Headband, Crazy Sock Day.” The camp wraps up Wednesday with “Crazy Hair Day.”
Camp organizers say winners will be recognized each day for participating in the themed activities and will receive prizes.
All campers are asked to bring a labeled water bottle each day to stay hydrated throughout camp activities.
Parents should plan to pick up campers at 3:30 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, a brief awards ceremony will be held in the main gym beginning at 3:30 p.m. before campers are dismissed.
Organizers encourage families with questions to reach out before camp begins and say they are looking forward to welcoming the next generation of Ramblers basketball players.
