LaFayette Parks and Recreation has postponed this week’s Rock Tots program because of expected rainy weather moving through the area.
Officials announced the decision after forecasts called for an afternoon and evening line of showers and thunderstorms. The program has been rescheduled for next week.
Participants who were already registered have been notified by email with updated information about the new date. Parks and Recreation officials also announced that registration has been extended through Sunday at 7:00 p.m., with a limited number of spots still available for those who would like to participate.
The department thanked families for their flexibility and understanding as weather conditions prompted the schedule change.
