Bettye Ann Whaley, 81, of Fort Oglethorpe, GA, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026. She was born on December 19, 1944, in Chattanooga, TN. Bettye was a real estate broker for many years. She cherished her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Some of Bettye’s hobbies included gardening and reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents, G.D. and Bonnie Clark; her grandson, Roscoe Whaley; and her brother, George Clark.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, David Whaley; her children, Larry (Sharon) Whaley, Steve (Sharon) Whaley, David D. (Debbie) Whaley, Susan Alday, and Tiffani (Jay) Eason; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Lowry, Lilli Eason, Lilah Brady, Lola Eason, Braylon Eason, Amber (Chris) Cargile, and many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brothers, Thomas and James Clark; two cousins, Beverley Jimenez-Burchfield and Margaret Jimenez.
