The Walker County Assessor’s Office in Rock Spring will temporarily close to the public beginning Friday, Aug. 7, while the building undergoes repairs.
The closure is expected to last through Friday, Sept. 4. Although the office will not be open to the public during that time, Assessor’s Office staff will continue working from various locations throughout Walker County to maintain services.
Residents who need to meet with a staff member in person are asked to call 706-638-4823 to schedule an appointment during the temporary closure.
