Walker County Animal Control will be temporarily closed as the department moves into a new office space.
County officials announced the department will be closed for the remainder of today through midday Wednesday while the relocation is completed.
During the closure, normal operations will be suspended as staff work to transition into the new office.
Officials expect Animal Control to reopen around midday Wednesday and resume normal services. Residents are encouraged to plan accordingly and wait until the office reopens for non-emergency animal control needs.
