The LaFayette City Council will hold a special called meeting Tuesday evening, with a golf training facility listed as the only item of new business on the agenda.
The meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, at LaFayette City Hall.
According to the meeting agenda, Mayor and Council will consider a “golf training facility” under new business. No additional details about the proposed facility were included on the agenda.
Following consideration of new business, council members, the city clerk, city attorney/city manager and mayor will have an opportunity to provide comments.
The council is also scheduled to enter an executive session to discuss matters involving real estate, litigation and personnel.
The special called meeting comes outside the council’s regular meeting schedule.
The meeting will begin with an invocation and Pledge of Allegiance before council members move into the business portion of the agenda.
