Nancy Rebekah Forrester

Nancy Rebekah “Becky” Forrester, 63, of Chickamauga, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026. She was born on August 20, 1963, in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, to the late Steve and Sue Forrester.

Becky was a graduate of Northwest Georgia High School, Class of 1981. She went on to graduate from Berry College, where she majored in Animal Science. Becky was a member of Elizabeth Lee Methodist Church and retired from Gordon Lee High School, where she directed the Agriculture Program.

Becky had a love for the outdoors and animals. She enjoyed gardening and showing rabbits and was a member of the handbell choir at church. She loved spending time with her family and took great pride in the time they shared together. Becky was also the owner and operator of Red Roof Farm Vintage Rentals in Chickamauga, Georgia.

Those left to cherish Becky’s memory are her loving husband of 39 years, David Hilley; daughter, Madison Suzannah Lovett and her husband, Flynt; son, Tate Stephen Dean Hilley; sister, Stevie Carver and her husband, Chuck; brother, Glenn Stephen Forrester and his wife, Kelly; grandson, Asa Herine Lovett; granddaughter, Lark Rebekah Lovett; and several other extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory.

A graveside service will follow at 12:00 PM on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park, 724 Hogan Road, Rossville, Georgia 30741.
