A Rossville man has been arrested on child sexual exploitation charges following an investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
The GBI said 36-year-old Nathan Aldrich of Rossville was arrested Thursday, Aug. 27, and charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of children.
According to the agency, the investigation began in February 2025 when its Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit launched a proactive investigation involving the online possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material.
The investigation eventually led agents to Aldrich’s residence in Walker County.
The GBI has not released additional details about the evidence that led to the charges or the circumstances surrounding the alleged offenses.
Aldrich was booked into the Walker County Jail following his arrest. According to detention center records, he was released Friday, Aug. 28, after posting a $20,000 bond.
The GBI’s Calhoun Regional Investigative Office and the Walker County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation.
The case is part of the Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force’s ongoing effort to identify and arrest individuals involved in the exploitation of children online.
