Georgia Northwestern Technical College is offering adults an opportunity to earn their GED in just three days through a free program scheduled for October at the college’s Whitfield Murray Campus in Dalton.
The three-day GED program will be held Oct. 15-17, 2026, at GNTC’s Whitfield Murray Campus, Building A, located at 2310 Maddox Chapel Road.
Participants will receive free GED instruction, practice tests and official GED testing. Meals and snacks will also be provided at no cost.
Pre-registration is required, and participants must attend one of two assessment dates before the program begins. Those assessments are scheduled for Sept. 19 and Sept. 24.
Registration for the program is required by Sept. 16, and space is limited.
The program is open to adults age 18 and older. A government-issued ID is required. GNTC notes that not all students will qualify for the three-day program, but other learning options are available through the college’s Adult Education program.
