Drivers near Rossville should prepare for a road closure beginning Monday as Walker County crews complete culvert repairs.
Walker County officials say Ivy Street, between LaFayette Highway and Carline Road, will be closed beginning Monday, October 5.
The closure is necessary to allow crews to safely perform repairs to a culvert along the roadway.
Work is expected to take approximately three days to complete. Drivers who normally travel through the area should plan ahead, allow additional travel time and use alternate routes while the road is closed.
The roadway is expected to reopen once the culvert repairs are completed and the area is safe for traffic.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution around the work area and watch for crews and equipment.
