City of LaFayette Water Department crews are working Wednesday night to repair two water main breaks in the LaFayette and Rock Spring areas.
In an update issued around 8:40 p.m. Wednesday, October 14, city officials reported that crews were on the scene working to repair a water main break at Dixon and Chamberlain Road.
Meanwhile, another crew was being dispatched to a separate water main break on Honeysuckle in Rock Spring.
The city did not immediately provide details on how many customers may be affected by the breaks or whether residents in the surrounding areas are experiencing water outages or reduced water pressure.
There was also no estimated time given for when repairs would be completed.
City officials thanked residents for their patience as Water Department crews work to address both breaks.
