Due to overcrowding at the Walker County Animal Shelter, they are currently unable to take any more dogs or cats. The only exception is in the case of an animal bite incident. Walker County’s Animal Control Division will still complete investigations as they are reported. The Animal Shelter will soon be announcing a couple of dogs that are ready to be adopted.
