The Friends of the LaFayette-Walker County Library are bringing the excitement of the Kentucky Derby right here to our community on Saturday, May 2nd. Doors open at 5:30 PM for an evening packed with horse races for the kids, a hat contest for the ladies, and prizes. We’ll be serving up mock mint juleps and appetizers to keep the race-day energy high for all ages.
Tickets are available now at the library for just $5 per person or $20 for the whole family. You can also grab yours at the door when you arrive. Every ticket helps support our library’s programs and services, so come out and help us make this a winning night.
