More than 30 Walker County students have earned academic honors at Georgia Northwestern Technical College for the 2026 summer semester.
GNTC recently announced its President’s and Dean’s Lists, recognizing students who achieved high grade point averages while carrying a full course load.
Twenty-one Walker County students were named to the President’s List: Matthew Arbuckle, Alexandria Bowman, Alyxandra Pauleen Camello, Casey Campbell, Jennifer Capello, Victoria Clapper, Ellye Coulter, Michael Doane, Khristy Dotson, Emily Ensley, Micheal Haney, Whitney Helton, Isaac Johnson, Mariah McBee, Cody Palmer, Connor Stephens, Cheyenne Swanson, Ashlyn Venable, Colton Walker, Meghan Wallace and Robert Wallace.
To qualify for the President’s List, students must maintain a GPA of 3.8 or higher during the semester while completing at least 12 credit hours.
Another 12 Walker County students earned a spot on the Dean’s List: Amanda Anderson Force, Caroline Bentley, Racheal Chambers, Benita Clement, Alexander Grayson, Kimberly Guillot, Blakely Livingston, Danarea Marrow, Shana Maston-Shields, Chloe Vick, Kristen Warrenfells and Raelyn Whipple.
Students named to the Dean’s List must maintain a GPA between 3.5 and 3.79 while completing at least 12 credit hours during the semester.
Altogether, 33 Walker County students were recognized by Georgia Northwestern Technical College for their academic achievement during the 2026 summer semester.
