The Walker County Sheriff’s Office has issued a missing juvenile report. 16-year-old Olivea Harmon was last seen September 20th in the early morning hours at her home on Arnold Lane in Rock Spring. According to authorities Olivea is known to frequent the Walker County area and Effingham County near Savannah. If you know Olivea’s whereabouts or have any information, please call the Walker County Sheriff’s Department.
Gas prices continue to drop in the state of Georgia. The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas state wide is $3,30. That is nine cents less than last week. Catoosa-Dade and Walker Counties have the cheapest gas in the state. Locally drivers are paying an average of $3,19 per gallon according to Triple-A.
The nation’s blood supply has been down 25% since early August. According to the Red Cross, locally the blood supply is down about 18%. To help with the blood shortage the red cross invites you to have your school or company host a blood drive, or you can individually sign up for a red cross chapter drive.
