A roll-over car crash in Ringgold Thursday left one person dead and the other with injuries.  Catoosa County Fire Department responded to the incident on Dedmon Road and found a car in the left roadway rolled onto its side with two people trapped inside. One person was already deceased upon arrival, officials say.  The second person was airlifted to Erlanger Medical Center, and their condition is unknown at this time, officials say.  We’ll continue to monitor this story and provide updates as more information becomes available.
Four felony arrests in Walker County on Wednesday.  Three of which were drug related.  27-year-old Mark Andrew Schreiner was booked on possession of a Schedule IV, DUI, driving on a suspended license and other charges.  37-year-old Mary Lois Harvey was charged with possession of meth along with other drug related charges.  47-year-old Shannon Elizabeth Sullivan was charged with a felony violation of probation and possession of a schedule II.
The latest restaurant health inspection report shows some high marks for Walker County eateries.  The Waffle House in LaFayette and Mac’s Kitchen and Bar on McFarland Avenue in Rossville received a 100.  The Subway in Rock Spring also got a 100, while the Subway in LaFayette received a 96.  Station House on Chattanooga Street in Lafayette scored a 95.
According to recent studies, the unemployment rate for recent college graduates is at an all-time high. Recent college graduates’ unemployment rate rose over 4% in the last year.
