Four felony arrests in Walker County on Wednesday.  Among those arrested, 45-year-old Devine Demont Clark.  Clark was booked on simple battery and second-degree criminal damage to property.  Millie Ann Buckner, 42-years-old, was charged with exploitation or intimidation of an elderly person.  You can view the complete arrest report on our website at Discover Walker.com.
Heritage Middle and High Schools were both placed on lockdown yesterday.  The incident happened after there was a report of a person with a firearm nearby.  Catoosa County School officials say the person didn’t have a gun.  It was a cell phone.  The lockdown was lifted at 9am.
Duck hunting season in Georgia opens Saturday November 23rd.  The Georgia Department of Natural Resources says that youth, active military and veterans will have an early opportunity to hunt next weekend.  Duck season in Georgia runs from November 23rd to December 1st.  The season runs again from December 7th to January 26th.  You can get more details at Georgia Wildlife.com.
LaFayette High School will hold an Orange and Black Scrimmage tonight.  The girls team, under the direction of former boys coach Hank Peppers will take the floor at 6pm.  At 7;30pm, 1st year head coach Caleb Perry will lead his boys team.  The boys and girls will both open their season at home next Friday when they host Oakwood.
