The LaFayette Police Department is asking for help in identifying a person wanted in connection to a theft and property damage at Busy Bee Laundry in LaFayette.  The incident happened in the early morning hours of December 3rd.  The suspect was driving a white Buick LeSabre.  The car appears to be from the early 2000’s.  If you have any information on this case call the LaFayette Police Department.

More than 300 students are set to graduate from Georgia Northwestern Technical College next week.  The graduation is set for the Dalton Convention Center next Thursday.  It starts at 6pm.  All 9 GNTC campus locations will be represented at the graduation.
Chattooga County is set to honor long time coroner Earle Rainwater.  A reception will be held in Rainwater’s honor tomorrow from 3pm to 5pm at the Chattooga County Civic Center.  Rainwater has served as Chattooga County Coroner since 1976.  He’s one of the longest serving elected officials in Chattooga County history.  Rainwater is retiring after 48 years on the job in Chattooga County.
It’s the 1st region game of the season tonight for LaFayette Basketball.  The boys and girls travel to Ridgeland.  It’s a full evening of hoops.  Girls JV action starts things at 4.  JV boys take the floor at 5:30.  Varsity girls play at 7 and the varsity boys cap off the night at 8:30pm.
