Georgia voters will have a new way to show they participated in the 2026 elections, with a newly designed “I Voted” sticker making its debut at polling places across the state.
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger announced the new sticker Tuesday. The design features artwork by Georgia artist Steve Penley and will be distributed to election officials in all 159 counties. The Secretary of State’s Office says five million of the new stickers have been printed ahead of the midterm elections.
“We are excited to debut this one-of-a-kind sticker by renowned artist Steve Penley,” Raffensperger said. “Voting is one of the easiest ways Georgians can make their voices heard, and this sticker gives voters a fun way to celebrate participating in democracy. I hope Georgians will wear the sticker proudly and encourage their friends and family to do the same.”
The new design will not necessarily replace Georgia’s familiar “I’m a Georgia Voter” peach sticker. According to the Secretary of State’s Office, county election officials will be able to choose which sticker they distribute to voters.
Penley said creating the new design gave him an opportunity to combine his artwork with a symbol associated with participating in elections.
“Art has always been a powerful way to celebrate what makes Georgia special, and I’m honored to create a design that Georgians can take home with them from polls,” Penley said. “The ‘I Voted’ sticker is a simple symbol, but it represents something important: that you showed up to make your voice heard.”
The new stickers are expected to be available when early voting for the November election begins across Georgia on Oct. 13. Georgia provides three weeks of early voting, including two Saturdays, with counties also permitted to offer Sunday voting.
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3.
