Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) will welcome prospective students and their families to its Walker County Campus in Rock Spring for a pair of Open House events designed to showcase the college’s educational and career training opportunities.

The Walker County Campus will host Open House sessions on Tuesday, November 17, and Friday, November 20, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The November 17 event will take place in Building 600, Rooms 6101 and 6102, while the November 20 session will be held in Building A, Room 103.

The events will provide prospective students with an opportunity to explore the campus, learn about available academic and technical programs, and discover the resources GNTC offers to help students prepare for their future careers.

Each Open House will feature registration, a panel discussion, guided campus tours highlighting different programs, and a presentation outlining the benefits of attending GNTC.

Participants will also receive information about the enrollment process, including how to apply for admission and complete the advising process.

The events are particularly beneficial for high school students exploring college options, families interested in learning more about technical education, and high school counselors who may want to arrange group visits.

GNTC is also offering free applications throughout the month of November as part of its Free Application Month initiative, giving prospective students an opportunity to begin the enrollment process without an application fee.

Each Open House visit is expected to last approximately one and a half to two hours.

Prospective students and families are encouraged to register in advance and take advantage of the opportunity to see what Georgia Northwestern Technical College has to offer at its Walker County Campus.
