Gilbert Elementary Releases 2026-2027 Classroom Supply Lists

Gilbert Elementary School has released its classroom supply lists for the 2026-2027 school year, giving families a chance to begin preparing for students’ return to the classroom this fall.

School officials are asking parents and guardians not to label any school supplies before the first day of school, as teachers will label all student supplies in class.

Supply lists vary by grade level and include the following items:

Pre-K
Students will need:

  • Backpack
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Towel or small blanket for rest time

Kindergarten
Students should bring:

  • Notebook paper
  • Pencils
  • Two 24-count packs of crayons
  • One pair of scissors
  • Two packs of thin dry erase markers
  • One pair of wired headphones
  • Glue sticks
  • Reusable water bottle

1st Grade
Students will need:

  • Three 24-count packs of crayons
  • Two pairs of wired headphones
  • Two composition notebooks
  • One pack of thin dry erase markers
  • Highlighters

2nd Grade
The supply list includes:

  • Two 24-count packs of crayons
  • Six glue sticks
  • One pack of thin dry erase markers
  • Four composition notebooks
  • One pair of wired headphones
  • Notebook paper
  • Pencils

3rd Grade
Students should bring:

  • Notebook paper
  • Five composition notebooks
  • Pencils
  • One zipper pencil pouch
  • One 24-count pack of crayons
  • One pair of scissors
  • Two packs of glue sticks

4th Grade
Required supplies include:

  • Notebook paper
  • Pencils
  • Five composition notebooks
  • Two folders (one red and one blue)
  • One pack of dry erase markers
  • One pack of colored pencils
  • Three packs of glue sticks

5th Grade
Students will need:

  • Notebook paper
  • Pencils
  • One pack of card stock
  • One pack of four dry erase markers
  • Three 1½-inch binders
  • Three packs of dividers
  • One pack of three large pink erasers

Gilbert Elementary encourages families to begin shopping early to ensure students have the materials they need for a successful start to the new school year. Parents are reminded once again to leave all supplies unlabeled, as teachers will organize and label classroom materials after students arrive.
