Gordon Lee High School has once again claimed the top prize in Georgia high school baseball.
The Trojans secured back-to-back GHSA Class A Division I state championships Saturday by defeating Vidalia 3-1 in Game 3 of the championship series in Columbus.
The title marks the sixth state baseball championship in school history and the fourth since 2018, further cementing Gordon Lee’s place among Georgia’s premier high school baseball programs.
After splitting the opening two games of the series, the Trojans delivered a strong performance in the decisive third game, holding Vidalia to just one run while scoring three of their own to secure the championship trophy.
The repeat championship adds another milestone to an already impressive stretch of success for Gordon Lee baseball, which has now captured four state titles over the past eight seasons.
