The LaFayette Mayor and City Council will meet Tuesday, July 7, for its regularly scheduled monthly meeting, with several city infrastructure and public works items on the agenda.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. and will open with an invocation, the Pledge of Allegiance, and approval of the minutes from the June 8 council meeting.
Under new business, council members are expected to discuss several topics affecting city operations and future planning, including upcoming community events, the purchase or replacement of an arm for a garbage truck, and vegetation management efforts throughout the city.
Council members will also consider airport and golf course signage, plans for a crosswalk at Traverse Park, and a discussion on the city’s 10-year water and sewer outlook, which will focus on the long-term needs of LaFayette’s utility infrastructure.
Following discussion of the agenda items, the meeting will adjourn.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at LaFayette City Hall.
