The LaFayette Ramblers will officially kick off the 2026 high school football season Friday night with a road trip to Summerville to take on the Chattooga Indians.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., with both teams entering the season opener with 0-0 records.
Friday night’s matchup gives the Ramblers their first opportunity to set the tone for the new season as LaFayette looks to get off to a strong start away from home.
Chattooga will have the benefit of opening the season on its home field, setting up an early test for the Ramblers in what should be an exciting Northwest Georgia matchup.
Fans who can’t make the trip to Summerville can follow the Ramblers live on Georgia 93.7 FM WQCH. The game will also be available to listen to live online at DiscoverWalker.com.
