LaFayette’s Recreation Department shared significant growth over the past few years. They report a 124% rise in participation in Spring sports since 2016. LRD also shared that soccer alone has grown so much that the city had to create additional parking at the Recreation Complex.
The City of LaFayette posted the following on Facebook:
“The Recreation Department is busy all year long, and they are currently registering for Summer Day Camp. The Recreation Department does a phenomenal job planning quality educational and recreational activities for our city’s youngest residents. We are so proud of the work that they do for our community.
