The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Monday until Tuesday Morning. Heavy snow is reported to be possible. Total snow accumulations of up to two inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze are possible in Dade, Walker and Catoosa Counties.
Winter Storm Watches have also been places in Northeast Alabama and Southeast Tennessee.
Residents are encouraged strongly to plan for slippery road conditions which could impact the morning or evening commute.
