Rambler Football is calling on the community to help prepare for the upcoming season by volunteering during a football field and concession stand cleanup day this weekend.
The cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 1, beginning at 8 a.m. and continuing until the work is complete.
Organizers are inviting parents, family members, friends, alumni and community supporters to lend a hand as the program gets its facilities ready for the start of football season. Volunteers are encouraged to participate, whether they can stay for the entire day or only for a short time.
The effort will focus on cleaning and preparing the football field and concession stand to ensure the facilities are ready for players, coaches and fans when the season begins.
Rambler Football officials say community support plays an important role in the success of the program and hope to see a strong turnout for the cleanup day. Everyone willing to help is welcome to attend.
