Residents in Summerville and across Chattooga County now have increased access to local health care services with the addition of a new physician at AdventHealth Medical Group Primary Care & Urgent Care at Summerville.

AdventHealth Redmond announced that Dr. Jacquelin Miller, MD, FACEP, has joined the Summerville clinic, further strengthening medical services available within the community. Her addition supports continued efforts to provide convenient, close-to-home care for local families.

Dr. Miller joins Christie Tankersley, ACNP-BC, and Anna Nicole Herring, FNP-C, helping expand appointment availability and meet the growing needs of Summerville residents.

A board-certified emergency medicine physician, Dr. Miller brings a wealth of experience treating urgent and complex medical conditions. She is dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and works closely with patients to ensure they feel informed and supported—especially during critical health moments.

Dr. Miller earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia, where she also completed a transitional internship in internal medicine and surgery, followed by a residency in emergency medicine. She is board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.

Hospital leaders say the addition reflects a continued investment in Summerville’s health care infrastructure, giving residents greater access to high-quality care without leaving their community.
