Walker County Chairwoman Angie Teems will continue her series of town hall-style gatherings this month, providing residents with opportunities to meet with county leadership, ask questions, and discuss issues affecting their communities.
The meetings are designed to encourage open dialogue between county officials and residents while providing updates on county projects, services, and future plans.
Four town hall meetings remain on the schedule, with all events beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The upcoming dates and locations are:
• Thursday, June 11 – Walker County Civic Center, 10052 Highway 27, Rock Spring. County officials noted this meeting was originally scheduled for June 9 and has been rescheduled.
• Monday, June 15 – Armuchee Valley Community Center, 11471 Georgia Highway 136, LaFayette.
• Tuesday, June 16 – Rossville Senior Center, 101 Bryan Street, Rossville. This meeting was originally scheduled for May 19 and has been rescheduled.
• A town hall meeting for Lookout Mountain residents will also be held at Lookout Mountain Town Hall, 1214 Lula Lake Road. A date for that meeting has not yet been announced.
Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting most convenient to them. The town halls offer an opportunity for citizens to share concerns, ask questions, and learn more about county government initiatives directly from Chairwoman Teems and county staff.
