The Walker County Board of Commissioners will hold a special called work session Thursday morning to continue discussions on the county’s proposed Fiscal Year 2027 budget.
The meeting is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, in the conference room of the Walker County Administration Building (Courthouse Annex I), located at 101 South Duke Street in LaFayette.
According to the meeting agenda, commissioners will convene for a budget work session focused on the proposed FY2027 budget. The agenda includes the call to order, attendance, the fiscal year budget discussion, and adjournment.
County officials say the work session is open to the public, allowing residents to observe the ongoing budget planning process.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Walker County Board of Commissioners is set for Thursday, Aug. 6, at 6:30 p.m.
