The Walker County Development Authority will hold its next regular meeting on Tuesday, June 9, at 10:00 a.m. at the Walker County Civic Center, located at 10052 North Highway 27 in Rock Spring.
According to the published agenda, board members will consider the proposed Fiscal Year 2027 budget as one of the primary items of business during the meeting.
The meeting will begin with a call to order, invocation, and approval of the agenda. Board members are also scheduled to review and consider approval of the minutes from the May 20, 2026 meeting.
Additional agenda items include a financial report, an executive director’s report, and presentations if needed. The board has also reserved time for an executive session if necessary before adjournment.
The Walker County Development Authority is responsible for promoting economic development opportunities, supporting business growth, and encouraging investment throughout Walker County.
