The next meeting meeting Walker County Historic Preservation Commission will be held on Monday, May 15. New business topics to be discussed include a request for a Dewberry Rosenwald School Wayside Marker and the Georgia Civil War Commission’s approval of a wayside marker for the Gordon Lee Manion’s “Mansion Smoke House”. This meeting will take place at 6:00 pm at the Lafayette-Walker County Public Library. The public is welcome to attend.
