The August meeting of the Walker County Historical Society will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023, 3:00 pm at the Marsh House, 308 North Main Street, La Fayette, GA 30728. The program will be a presentation on “the Pigeon Mountain Volcano” by local historian Doug Carson. The public is invited to come and share a favorite myth.
