Walker County School Bus Overturns on North Long Hollow Road; No Injuries Reported
WALKER COUNTY, Ga. — A school bus accident Thursday morning in Walker County ended without injuries after the vehicle ran off the roadway and overturned.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, the crash happened on North Long Hollow Road when the bus left the roadway and came to rest on its passenger side.
Officials say the driver was not injured, and no children were on board at the time of the crash.
Walker County Schools reported that the driver indicated a “soft shoulder” along the edge of the newly paved road may have contributed to the incident.
Authorities confirm no other vehicles were involved.
The crash remains under review.
