Walker County students will head back to the classroom on Wednesday, Aug. 5, as the 2026-27 school year gets underway.
The first major break in the school calendar will be Fall Break, scheduled for Oct. 12 through Oct. 16. Students and staff will also enjoy Holiday Break beginning Dec. 21, with classes resuming Jan. 5.
