An employee at the Sonic in Dalton has been arrested after pointing a loaded gun at a co-worker during an argument.  19-year old Baily Ryan Jones faces two counts of reckless conduct, 2-counts of aggravated assault and willfull obstruction.  According arrest reports, Jones has a lengthy history of run-ins with law enforcement.
The city of Dalton is hosting a blood drive today to meet the commitment to Hamilton Medical Center.  The drive is done in partnership with Blood Assurance.  You can dontate today in Dalton at the Public Works headquarters on Elm Street.  The Blood Assurance bus will be there from noon until 3pm.  Blood Assurance is always in need.  You can visit them at Blood Assurance.org to learn how you can give blood.
Congrats to the Lafayette girls tennis team.  They are headed to the Sweet 16.  The Lady Ramblers defeated Sandy Creek 3-0 yesterday in the first round  of the state tournament.  The Lady Rambers are back on the road next week.  The oppnent and the location have not been determined.
