A warrant service in the Rocky Face area led to a significant drug seizure and the arrest of one man, according to the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say a patrol deputy was attempting to serve an arrest warrant when circumstances at the scene provided probable cause to obtain a search warrant for a nearby residence.
During the search, deputies reported finding more than 300 grams of methamphetamine and over 750 grams of marijuana, along with other items connected to suspected drug activity.
Peter Cudd was arrested at the scene and faces several charges, including trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, distribution of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, and possession of drug-related objects.
