The search is over.  According to the LaFayette Police Department, 14-year-old Graycie Millard has been found.  Investigators received a new credible tip on Thursday of last week.  Investigators were able to track the location late Friday night.  FBI agents in Arizona were able to locate her.  The investigation into her disappearance continues and no further details have been released.
An early morning crash on Saturday in Walker County claimed one life.  According to authorities, Isabella Wade of Rossville was traveling westbound on Georgia 2 when she left the road and struck a concrete bridge pier.  Wade was the only person in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.  The incident happened just before 7am Saturday morning.
The Walker County Board of Commissioners will hold their final millage rate hearing on Thursday.  The hearing takes place at 7pm at the Courthouse Annex III at 201 South Main Street in LaFayette.  The regular meeting begins as soon as the millage rate hearing is over.
The Walker County Restaurant Inspection shows a score of 99 for the McDonalds in Chickamauga.  A score of 100 for the Chickamauga Wendys.  The Huddle House in Chickamauga also scored an 82.
