A single car accident late Sunday night took the life of the driver.  The incident started about 11pm when Rossville Police attempted to stop a green Mazda with Tennessee tags after the driver attempted to run the officer over.  The driver sped into Chattanooga going northbound on Rossville Blvd.  The driver slammed into a utility pole on Rossville Blvd at Doyle Street.  An unidentified 46-year-old driver was entrapped in the vehicle and later died from injuries at a local hospital.

A U.S. federal judge has issued an injunction, bringing back the option for children in Georgia to receive gender-altering procedures from healthcare providers.  Georgia’s Senate Bill 140 blocked access to hormone therapy for children.  But late Sunday evening, a federal Judge issued a preliminary injunction. This puts a temporary stop to this legislation.  This is due to an ongoing lawsuit, filed by four Georgia families and one organization. The pause will continue until this case is resolved.  Seven federal courts have blocked these legislative bans in the U.S., including in Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Tennessee, Kentucky and Florida.
