The Walker County Detention Center reports seven felony arrests on Wednesday. 41-year-old Dustin Daniel Ryan was booked on 1st degree burglary charges, theft, loitering and prowling. 39-year-old Michael Don Henderson faces charges of possession of meth with the intent to distribute and trafficking drugs. 32-year-old Shelbi Elaine Casper was booked on possession of a schedule IV and meth with the intent to distribute, trafficking drugs and other charges. Christopher Michael Hughes, 38-years-old faces possession of schedule IV with intent to distribute, possession of meth, driving without a license and a window tint violation.
The City of LaFayette Gas Department is accepting applications for the position of Utility Maintenance Worker. Applicants must be able to reach and write and have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. Pipeline welding experience is preferred but not required. Wage is based on experience.
