This is the weekend we fall back.  Make sure you set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed on Saturday.  It’s also a good time to test your smoke alarms and replace those batteries if needed.
The Walker County Detention Center reports seven felony arrests on Wednesday.  41-year-old Dustin Daniel Ryan was booked on 1st degree burglary charges, theft, loitering and prowling.  39-year-old Michael Don Henderson faces charges of possession of meth with the intent to distribute and trafficking drugs.  32-year-old Shelbi Elaine Casper was booked on possession of a schedule IV and meth with the intent to distribute, trafficking drugs and other charges.  Christopher Michael Hughes, 38-years-old faces possession of schedule IV with intent to distribute, possession of meth, driving without a license and a window tint violation.
The City of LaFayette Gas Department is accepting applications for the position of Utility Maintenance Worker.  Applicants must be able to reach and write and have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.  Pipeline welding experience is preferred but not required.  Wage is based on experience.  You can apply in person at City Hall at 207 South Duke Street.
It’s Senior Night at Jack King Stadium.  The Ramblers face Ridgeland.  Kickoff is set for 7:30pm.  You can hear it on Georgia 93-7.  If your headed to the game, senior night festivities begin at 6:45pm.
