Superior Court Judge Chris Arnt is asking Walker County for back pay.  Arnt became judge in March and has not received his supplement from Walker County.  Arnt told the Walker County Commission this week that the 4 Superior Court Judges are paid a base by the state.  Counties in their jurisdiction pay a supplement.  The supplement is based on the census and the size of the county.  The Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit is one of the busiest in the state based on caseload but 48th out of 50 circuits in pay.  Arnt is the lowest paid judge in the state.  You can read the full story with comments from Arnt and Commission Chairman Shannon Whitfield at DiscoverWalker.com
Blood Assurance is having a blood drive Friday in Ringgold.  The blood drive will benefit the tornado victims in middle Tennessee.  The blood drive is happening Friday from 10am to 3pm at 875 LaFayette Street in Ringgold.  If your planning on donating, make sure you eat a full mean, drink plenty of water and bring a form of identification.
AAA expects holiday travel for Christmas and New Years to hit a record high.  3.6 million Georgians are expected to travel 50 miles or more this holiday season.
