Two felony arrests in Walker County on Sunday. 46-year-old Robert Allen Lenticum was booked on several charges. Giving a false name, possession of meth and a schedule II.
The price of gas continues to drop. According to AAA, gas prices in the state have dropped seven cents from last week. Walker, Dade and Catoosa counties continue to have the best prices for regular unleaded in the state. The average price of gas locally is $3.03. State wide, it’s $3.15.
GNTC is hosting an adult education open house at the Rock Spring location one week from today. The event happens September 3rd from 2pm to 4pm. It’s happening in Building 100 and Room 119 at the Walker County Campus on Bicentennial Trail. The open house will include information on enrolling in free classes. That includes prep classes for the GED test. There will be refreshments and door prizes.
