Three individuals have been charged after an incident was reported in Dade County.  The Dade County Sheriff’s Office says they were notified by the School Superintendent that a school bus driver reported seeing a male standing next to the road and heard gunshots when the bus passed by him.  A police report was filed and Dade County Deputies were able to identify the suspect.  Dade County Investigators obtained a search warrant for the suspect’s residence, where the firearm was recovered.  The Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force was also called to the scene of the residence for assistance.  This led to drug charges against two more individuals inside the residence.  A 17-year-old male was charged with Aggravated Assault, Cruelty to Children, and Discharging a Firearm within 50 yards of a Roadway.  An 18 year old male, 16 year old female, were both charged with Possession of a Schedule 1, Possession of a Schedule 2, and Possession with the Intent to Distribute.  Evidence from the investigation never revealed that the suspect shot toward or at the school bus, or at any of the students on the bus.
