Wednesday nights fire at the LaFayette Goodwill on Mize Street has forced temporary closure of the store. Goodwill officials say the store and the donation drop off will be closed while renovations take place. Goodwill officials say the Fort Oglethorpe location and the other locations in the area remain open.
If you’re a Chickamauga Utilities customer you won’t be able to pay your bill on line starting today through Monday. The utility will be performing maintenance on their payment portal. All payments between now and Monday will have to be by mail or at the Chickamauga City Hall. The new payment system will be up and running by Tuesday April 4th.
The Restaurant Health Inspection for this week…The Taco Bell in Chickamauga scored a 94. Walker County State Prison scored a 92. El Trio Mexican Restaurant in Lafayette scored a 91.
Lafayette Girls Tennis scored a 3-2 win on Wednesday over Adairsville.
Rambler sports will take next week off for spring break.
