The Walker County Sheriff’s Office has released information on a missing juvenile. 16-year-old Todd Delee was last seen at his residence on South Oakland Drive in Lafayette on Friday May 5th. If you know his whereabouts contact Detective Becky Beason of the Walker County Sheriff’s office.
Today and tomorrow Tennessee and Georgia will join together for “Seats Across States”. It’s a 2-day car seat check to kick off the summer travel season. Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for children in America. Authorities say over 65% of car seats are improperly used or are incorrectly installed by adults. Car seat checks will happen today from 1pm-to-3pm at the TDOT office on Volkswagon Drive in Chattanooga. Tomorrow it’s from 10am-to-noon in the Home Depot parking lot on Battlefield Parkway in Fort Oglethorpe.
Tuesday’s Walker County arrest report was a long one with seven felony arrests. 29 year old Nicholas Tadd Dewayne Gadd was booked on possession of meth. 32 year old Zachary Shane Parton faces 1st degree burglary charges, attempting to elude police and a slew of traffic violations. 52 year old Pracey Kay Fowler was booked on possession of meth, possession of a schedule IV and several traffic violations. A series of open air markets are returning to Rossville this summer. The BLVD Project and Rossville Downtown Development Authority will host three summer markets on the first Friday evenings of June, July, and August. It will be located in the grassy field next to Brody’s Jewelers along Rossville Boulevard at 207 Chickamauga Boulevard from 5 to 9 p-m on those Fridays. It is the second year they are hosting these markets as they aim to make Rossville a destination for events. There will be vendors, food, and entertainment at these markets.
