A jury has found two men guilty in the August 2022 murder of a Rossville man. Eric Dodds and Kavon Collier were both found guilty of felony murder and several other counts. Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit District Attorney Clayton M. Fuller has planned a news conference for Tuesday of next week and will release more details. On August 1st of last year, the Walker County Sheriff’s Department and Rossville Police responded to a shots fired call on East Peachtree Street in Rossville. Dakota Bradshaw was found shot to death inside his home. Dodds and Collier were both arrested a week later in Huntsville Alabama. Police have two other suspects in the case who are also facing murder charges related to Bradshaw’s death.
The Walker County Detention Center saw nine individuals booked on felony charges on Wednesday. Four of the nine were booked on drug charges. 32-year-old Summer Marie Dillingham was charged with DUI, possession of meth and failure to maintain lane. 51-year-old Johnny Joseph Dearing faces possession of meth charges. 61-year-old Robert Junior Fleetwood was booked on possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and violation of probation. 44-year-old Eric Keith Turner faces possession of meth charges. It’s graduation night at LaFayette High School. The Class of 2023 will graduate at 8pm this evening. The ceremony will be held at Jack King Stadium on the newly renamed Jeff Suttle Field.
