The Walker County Detention Center reported four felony arrests on Tuesday.  Three of the arrest were for probation violations.  The 4th, Christopher Blake Stansell was arrested early Tuesday morning and charged with four counts of felony aggravated assault.  For a complete arrest report visit DiscoverWalker.com
An update on a missing person story from yesterday.  The Walker County Sheriff’s Department says that Jeremiah Whitfield has been located.  Whitfield had been reported missing after he was last seen at a convenience store on Wilson Road in Rossville back on May 21st.
The state of Georgia is offering two free fishing days.  The next two Saturdays, June 3rd and June 10th are free fishing days.  That means Georgia residents do not need a fishing license, trout license or land pass to fish.
LaFayette’s Channing Wilson is back on stage.  Wilson will play the Barrelhouse Ballroom in Chattanooga tonight.  Wilson played the Grand Ole Opry in February.  Wilson has made a name for himself as a songwriter, writing songs for Luke Combs among others.  His latest album, Dead Man, was released in February.  The show tonight starts at 8 with Ringgold native Nathan Farrow opening along with Davey Smith from Hixson.
