Anita Carol Lombardi

Anita Carol Lombardi, 80, of LaFayette, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. She was born in Hollywood, Florida, to the late Carl and Alice Eley. Anita moved from Lake Mary, Florida in 2000 and made her home in LaFayette, Georgia for the last twenty-five years. Anita loved to call herself a “Hobby Farmer” where she enjoyed keeping her many different animals and spending time caring for them. She loved animals and gardening. Anita lived a life of service. She worked as a Registered Nurse and was always ready to help anyone. Anita loved her family. She was a wonderful mom, wife and grandma. Her family's love for Anita was deep and unwavering, and she will be greatly missed.

Anita is preceded in death by her loving husband of over fifty-four years, Robert Daniel Lombardi; and parents, Carl Richard and Alice Adelaide Eley.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Dawn (Michael) Pace of Ringgold, Georgia, Daniel (Tammie Lynn) Lombardi of LaFayette, Georgia; grandchildren, Corey Lombardi of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, and Emily Lombardi of Rossville, Georgia; sister, Lynn (Don) Reynolds of Sanford, Florida; and brother, Kelly (Bea) Eley of Virginia.

The family has arranged for a time to remember and honor Anita. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2025 at Chattanooga National Cemetery, 1200 Bailey Avenue, Chattanooga, Tennessee. The family appreciates your prayers and support during this difficult time.
