Mrs. Billie Ann Wooten Cohen age 83, of Ringgold, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 28, 2024. She was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and has resided in Ringgold since 1965. Billie was a member of Boynton Baptist Church and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Trin Wooten Sr. and Willie Stowe Wooten; sisters, Thelma Beagles, Margaret Brock, Eloise Wood; brothers, Chester Wooten, Ralph Wooten, Trin Wooten Jr. and John Wooten.
Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, William “Bill” Cohen; children, Daphne Oliver and Charles Cohen; sisters, Myrtis Johnson, Barbara (James) Cohen; grandchildren, Devon Oliver, Dylan Oliver, Matt Cohen; great grandchild, Cohen Oliver, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2024 in Anderson Memorial Gardens with Pastor Keith McLeod officiating. Online guest book at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.
